This page sets out a few things we want to be upfront about, so there is no confusion about what RM Creative does and does not promise.

Education, not a guarantee of income or employment

RM Creative teaches practical video editing skills. We do not promise you a job, a client, a placement, a particular income, or any specific career outcome, and we do not offer a job-guarantee programme.

Editing is a skill, and skills reward practice. What you get out of the course depends heavily on how much you practise, the work you produce afterwards, and the effort you put into finding clients. Anyone who guarantees you an income from a one-month course is not being honest with you.

Individual results vary

Where student work, progress or experiences are shown on this site, they represent those individual students. They are not a promise or a projection of what any other student will achieve.

Not a certified or affiliated training centre

RM Creative is an independent training service run by a working video editor. It is not a university, and it is not an authorised, certified or affiliated training partner of Adobe, Blackmagic Design, or any other software company.

Adobe, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and all other product names are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to describe what we teach. Any certificate issued by RM Creative is a record of course completion from RM Creative — it is not a government-recognised or industry-accredited qualification.

Software and hardware

You are responsible for your own editing software licence and for a computer capable of running it. RM Creative does not supply, sell or provide software licences, and we do not support or encourage the use of pirated software.

Content accuracy

Editing software changes often. We keep our teaching current, but menus, features and workflows in third-party software can change after a course or a resource is produced. Information on this site is provided in good faith and for educational purposes.
